How to Find Your GANTER Size
1. Measure your footPlace a sheet of paper against a wall and stand on it with your heel touching the wall. Put your full weight on your foot, just as you would when walking.
2. Mark your longest toeKeep a pen straight up and mark the position of your longest toe. For a more accurate measurement, ask someone to help you.
3. Measure your foot lengthMeasure the distance from the edge of the paper to your mark. This is your foot length.
4. Measure both feetFeet can differ slightly in size, so measure both. Use the measurement of your longer foot when choosing your size.
5. Choose your sizeCompare your foot length with our GANTER size chart. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger size for extra comfort and to avoid pressure on your toes.
6. Check the widthGANTER shoes come in different widths. If you have wider or sensitive feet, check the width information on the individual product page before ordering.
Please note: For models with lambskin lining, we recommend considering half a size larger.
How to Find Your GANTER Width
Choosing the right width is just as important as choosing the right shoe size. If you have wider or more sensitive feet, measuring your foot circumference can help you find a more comfortable fit.
1. Measure the widest part of your footWhile standing, wrap a measuring tape around the widest part of your foot, usually around the ball of your foot.
2. Keep the tape comfortableMake sure the tape is snug against your foot, but not tight or pressing into the skin.
3. Check the measurementRead the measurement in centimetres. For the most accurate result, ask someone to help you while you are standing.
4. Find your widthUse your foot length and circumference measurement to find the recommended GANTER width in the table below.
Tip: If your feet are wider or you often experience pressure around the toes or forefoot, choosing the correct width can make a big difference to everyday comfort.
Attention: If you have a hallux valgus with a pronounced bunion, you need to measure immediately behind the big toe joint to find your correct comfort shoe width.
Tip: If you don't have a measuring tape on hand, you can also determine the circumference measurements using string and a ruler.
